Who are the people working with Goulburn Physiotherapy?
-
Brent Davies
Brent Davies is the Principle Physiotherapist at Goulburn Physiotherapy and has 19 years private practice experience working in New Zealand, Ireland, England and Australia. Brent has a special interest in Tendon rehabilitation, Tai Chi and Mindfulness.
Brent completed his Bachelor of Health Science Physiotherapy (BHSci (Physio)) at Auckland University of Technology (AUT) in 1999. He then went on to complete his Post Graduate studies in Sports and Manipulative Physiotherapy in 2003. However, with an ever-curious mind, Brent is always keeping up-to-date with the latest evidence supporting best-practice physiotherapy.
Brent leads the team at Goulburn Physiotherapy, and provides education and mentoring for many Physiotherapy students. His sound understanding of human mechanics, injury prevention and stress management, and his belief in the bio-psycho-social model of health, makes him stand out as a leader in physiotherapy in the region.
Brent is a lifelong learner - who aims to empower others with the skills to ease their pain, to move better, to learn how to relax and ultimately, to get back to activities they love.
Outside of work, Brent loves nature walks, and spending time playing with his three boys. He has a real passion for Tai Chi and how we can integrate its principles into daily life.
